McGesund has been Germany's directory for health, fitness, wellness, cosmetics and lifestyle since 2006 — with verified reviews that you, as a consumer, can actually trust. Care providers can additionally use our signal system for structured feedback from everyday care.

The public directory, all provider profiles, the reviews and the lexicon are freely searchable without an account. You can also leave reviews without a McGesund account — directly on site at the provider via QR code with the McGesund hearts. An account is for businesses and care providers who want to maintain their profiles and QR codes, receive reviews or use the care signal system.

Reviews go through a multi-stage verification: QR codes on site at the provider, geolocation to confirm the physical visit, and cryptographic signing of the review data — classically (Ed25519) plus additionally quantum-resistant (Falcon, ML-DSA). Each signing key is also anchored in the Bitcoin blockchain. Providers from Classic upwards additionally get the reception display: a rotating one-time QR code on a tablet on site that technically limits mass collection — these reviews carry the “Display-verified” badge. As a result, fake, paid or AI-generated reviews that increasingly burden other platforms are practically eliminated on McGesund.

As a provider you can register for free and create a Basic listing. Classic additionally unlocks the reception display for “Display-verified” reviews; job postings are available from Pro (5 active) and Premium (20 active). The plans are billed monthly or yearly and are fully detailed under “Products and pricing”.

We offer four tiers: Basic (free, basic listing), Classic (extended profile, reception display for “Display-verified” reviews), Pro (multi-location management, job postings up to 5, click statistics) and Premium (everything in Pro, job postings up to 20, aggregated multi-location reporting, API access). For care providers there are additionally signal plans in four analogous tiers. You'll find a complete comparison under “Products and pricing”.

Providers with a configured profile can report reviews directly from their account. We review every report on a case-by-case basis — reviews that violate our policies (insults, false statements, missing customer contact) are removed. There is no blanket pre-censorship, so honest criticism, no matter the rating, stays.

We process personal data exclusively according to GDPR and BDSG (German Federal Data Protection Act). McGesund is hosted sovereignly in German data centres. You'll find the details in our privacy policy. Reviews are displayed pseudonymously; real-name data remains invisible to providers and other users.

For the paid provider plans the contract terms set out in our T&Cs apply. The Basic plan never costs you anything — it runs unbound with your location. A full account deletion is possible at any time without notice via the account settings.
